Guest guest
Could you please post the link where you got this information from? It is very interesting. Thanks, JR From: neno@... Date: Tue, 17 Mar 2009 07:54:07 +0000 Subject: HIV and autism I posted things in the past on similarities to autism in HIV positive kids. Now have been looking more closely and cannot believe my eyes. Somebody pinch me please. So here¹s my rough summary as of today (it gets more interesting as you read on, promise Neurodevelopmenal findings in HIV kids: Impairments in language, especially expressive language. Behavioural symptoms: irritability, lack of social skills, repetitive actions (rocking etc etc all familiar sounding). Note: memory and visual information processing (visual intelligence) are NOT impaired. Sometimes children develop normally and regress later, usually between 1.5-2 years of age. This is often linked to increased HIV viral load and/or reactivation. Now see this: language and behaviour often recover when children are given combination antiretroviral treatments, at least to some degree. Sometimes recovery is complete. No mention of the A word. This is called peadiatric neuroaids or 5 other vague names. ++++++ Latent HIV virus can be reactivated by vaccinations. Live virus vaccines, especially MMR, often come with a warning for HIV infected individuals inability to mount apropriate immune responses results in vaccine virus persistance. For example polio vacine strain has been found alive and well in guts of vaccinated individuals. No antibody production to Dtp or measles viruse etcŠ ++++++ Gastrointestinal findings in HIV positive children: Leaky gut and malabsorbtion of nutrients Lack of digestive enzymes (impaired pancreatic function) Abnormal reactions to gluten and casein !! Lactose intolerance Sugar intolerance Inability to digest complex carbohydrates Inability to absorb fats and proteins Gastrointestinal pathogen overload: secondary intestinal viruses, bacterial overload. Abnormal immune reactivity to candida albicans. +++++ Impaired fine and gross motor skills in HIV positive children Impaired sensory auditory and visual processing Subclinical hypothyroidism (in adults, no data on children) ++++++ HIV causes calcium overload and mitochondrial dysfunction HIV causes oxidative stress and glutathione depletion HIV is inhibited by glutathione and agents that raise glutathione HIV causes microglial activation and inflammation HIV alone or combined with bacterial agents causes breakdown of the blood brain barrier +++++ And this: chelation of metals inhibits HIV virus integration into human DNA. Retroviruses (HIV is a retrovirus) in general are desintegrated by chelation agents. Retroviruses use metal complexes to integrate into human DNA +++++ Tetracycline antibiotics (minocycline is one) inhibit HIV through same mechanism as chelation agents +++++ ..... Can I say anything out loud? Gonna go to sleep now ------ End of Forwarded Message

Guest guest
Thank you for doing the research. I would really won't like you spend too much time sending all the document to me. Could you please post the pubmed article ids for the articles you used for the information you posted below to the group? This is the kind of information that we need to show medical doctors and researchers. The HIV virus damages the immune system, so does the herpes family of viruses. Thanks, JR From: neno@... Guest guest
Natasa- I have been just doing some searches on the HIV in children in Pubmed and I am disturbed. This stuff is unbelievable. I almost feel sick thinking that my little girl could be as sick as a child with HIV. Are you thinking that antiretroviral meds would be something that our ASD kids may need? I am curious to what Dr. G and Dr. think. I have an appointment with him today and maybe I will bring it up. Thanks again for sharing all of this stuff. Guest guest
Yes now that I think about it, doesn't all that HIV research support the hypothesis? Guest guest
Dr Klimas is researching the use of Imunovir for CFS and to a degree in NIDs kids - perhaps part of the reason the Dr G has renewed interest in the med. Imunovir was also used early in the HIV fight. Another relationship to keep in mind is that of the role that HHV-6 might play in the activation of the HIV virus in its progression to AIDS. I wouldn't mind betting that HHV-6 is present as well in these children and might have something to do with their neurological disorders as well. This brings to mind the book written by the late Regush (ex Medical journalist for ABC news) published in 2000. It's called " The Virus Within - a coming epidemic " . The sleeve note says " A little known virus that evades detection and treatment, HHV-6 has been implicated in a host of illnesses, including AIDS, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, childhood brain and blood disorders, and some cancers " Hopefully it is still in print - check Amazon. Guest guest
I’m confused about how chelation fits into this. Is the article saying that chelation would help eliminate retroviruses, or make the retroviruses worse? Guest guest
That’s what I thought, given the article. So why does Dr. G adamantly oppose chelation? Guest guest
> I'm confused about how chelation fits into this. > Is the article saying that > chelation would help eliminate retroviruses, > or make the retroviruses worse? > Kristy I think chelatin would make a person worse, after all thats why the body has retained all the poisons, 2 control retroViruses, I know most will disagree. I can only see a benefit, as the virus receives & distributes reward, for allowing it to reproduce more. Without the pooisonous limits, the body is providing. Neil - IMO PDDNOS I've had chelatin 3x times, due 2 high heavy metals, a & aluminium etc. ie: my body personally doesn't detox on purpose. Why ask yourself. What is it trying 2 attack or control? Every time I chelated, eventaully hair analysis revealed, the heavy metals came back. I was even getting poisoned by childrens packs of Californian raisins, Boron pesticide, left on them. ie: I have no defense but the defenses I have already built in as a surviver. Thats what an Autistic person is. Someone who already knows how 2 survive. (Without intervention?) that should draw some comment :-) Neil from NZ- Echostation with opinon ie: IMO They say cidar vinegar is affective 4 AIDS, useful as a mouth wash or digestive aid with a full stomach. I use cheap supermarket stuff. I suffer from CFS also, & only function because i drink loads of milk, if I didn't I wouldn't be high enough to think or remember, where or what or how? Pain is not high sensivity at all. One has 2 enjoy pain 2 survive, I don't tolerate drugs or painkillers as 2 chemically sensitive. Sorry drug companies :-( References: http://3service.freeservers.com/autism.html (out of date web-page0 or nzasd
