Hi ,

I read the watts reduction info in quite lengthy GB-4000 application guidelines

that used to be part of our " Files " under " GB-4000 " . For some reason, I could

not find them again. An entire section appears missing! ????

When you emailed the company, was it Jeff Garff himself, the designer, that

responded, or was it the GB dealer?

The dealer I bought from I was not too happy with. The seller never gave me

clean, direct answers, so I decided to talk to Jeff Garff himself with

questions.

To me the power reduction per frequency seemed logical, when one considers that

say for a HI FI system, power determines the loudness capability of the system.

But, like you said, the GB may work differently.

If you heard from Jeff himself, I won't bother him on this, but if not, I'll

call him and Post his answer when I get it. May take awhile. So let us know your

info source, and we'll go from there.

Hi Adam,

I haven't gotten a response to my question yet. I considered calling them too.

I think this is important information to have. The engineer that I talked to

that told me he didn't think that the power of each frequency would be reduced

was Tichelear from TrueRife. He has been pretty helpful and I have not

seen him bash other instruments just because they are in competition with his

company. He did think the MOPA was unnecessary and way overkill. I have a

tendency to agree with him, knowing how plasma devices put out way more

penetration power then the hand held. When you run a plasma device it emits so

much EMF that anyone sitting in the room will get a rife session. I was pretty

sensitive to my EMEM driven by an Ateleir Robin. I don't think the Ateleir

Robin has much in the way of an amplifier unless you buy the separate amp. I

can't even imagine how I would react to a Plasma device driven by a 100 watt

amp.
