Jim,

This was asked else where, but their are others interested in the ans. as well,

so I decided to do a separate post. Sorry..can't do the fancy stuff with the

text to help people see better :(

1. Can u get enough Mag. from the flakes alone doing a bath, and are they just

as effective? If my brain is accurate, I believe you posted u could use the

whole tub of flakes to super load as long as you don't have kidney issues, as

the excess is just secreted. (correct?)

For the people having issues with the Mag. oil or just don't like the

application or irritation would this delivery system be just as effective

providing no kidney issues?

I have been doing 1/4 cup of Mag. flakes (swanson) for about 2 weeks...with some

detox stuff added and I feel a lot calmer and put together (especially dealing

with BART.(nasty-thing).

Their have been a lot of discussions concerning Mag. oil and Mag. citrate and

all the issues surrounding the protocols you state. Could this protocol be a

WIN, WIN? Most children loves baths....it's relaxing and fun....and us adults

can use it as a time to relax and the Mag. flakes def. help with that! (I

believe) was concerned about not getting her to comply with mag. oil...So have

her take a bath. My son and I play boats with torpedo's and submarines and we

both come out calmer, relaxed and not ready to go ballistic from Bart.

Sometimes u have to think outside the box. So Jim.....what are your thoughts?

Good solution to all the issues? Peace...Jodie L.

Hi Jodie, that was me speaking of my almost 17 year old niece. She lives with

her Mom who won't make her do anything that she doesn't want to do and she

doesn't like baths, and doesn't like the oil, even diluted. I was getting along

at full strength myself until I started trying to use 2-3x/day and the stinging

became too bad so I relented and diluted to 50%.

The next thing that I'm going to try is what someone recommended to me here or

on another group which is a different brand of oil that supposedly doesn't burn

as much, but must be mixed with a little glycerin in order to use it topically

(it's marketed as an oral prep)

http://www.iherb.com/Nutricology-Magnesium-Chloride-Liquid-8-fl-oz-236-ml/3446 .

My niece is still getting most of her mag in oral form and we've made the

decision along with our LLMD and nutritionist that getting the mag in is

critical, whatever the source. However, I just saw her RBC mag test today and

she was normal, and high in that lab's range so I don't know that we need to

keep pushing it so hard with her. If she only has to use the oil once per day

and only, say, 10 sprays on each arm, I might be able to get her to continue to

do it. We'll see.

Thanks,

, Well it was a thought! I guess the submarines and torpedo play are out

of the question, LOL! My son is a very young 6.5 year old.

I do know how teenagers can be. It does sound like you are overseeing

everything very well though! She is lucky for that. What about a foot soak

while watching t.v. or video game or something? That way their is no burning.

Just an idea.... Jodie L.
