Guest guest
Hi and Everyone! Thank you very much. We have worked very hard at this and firmly believe prayers have helped immensely. One thing is for sure, the agony of surgery, chemo and radiation will never be allowed. My Mother had a sister who went this route due to not knowing any better and the horror, torture and pain she suffered before she died, should never be placed on any human. After the physical mutilation, she had to try therapy to regain movement, had to look at the ugly scars, then the devils enticed her with chemo and radiation which caused unbearable nausea and lack of appetite. When she finally starved to death, only then was she released. Mom's doctor told me to not tell him what we are doing, yet I noticed he asked what we were doing and took notes. Interesting? When he tells us what he suggests as the next step (chemo), he won't look any of us in the eyes when he tells us what his suggestions are. He knows what we are thinking and we know what he is thinking. Baugh ******************** That is great to hear about your mom, that she is improving so well!! Lots of prayers and good thoughts for all of you!! " oldglory@... " <oldglory@...> wrote: Hi Suzi, A month ago Mom was dying with stage 4 cancer, in both lungs, liver, sternum, hip and spine. Today she has gained back over 10 lb of weight, the coughing is easing up, she is eating like the proverbial horse, says food tastes good again and looks great with an optimistic outlook. She is also regaining her strength. No radiation and no chemo allowed. We switched to two different things and I'm not sure if one or both are doing the job but will let everyone know when we have finished the courses. We still have about 125 more days to go. It has to do with strengthening her immune system and alkalinizing her body.

I also have RA, diagnosed (finally) about 4 years ago. I know I've had it longer because I've had knee pain for as long as I can remember. As of right now I do not take any form of RA medication because the side effects all scare me. I'm able to manage the pain with rest and Excedrin. So far that works for me. Yes, I do think about permenent joint damage all the time. Even when we aren't having an " episode " I know the disease is doing it's thing. I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping that over the next few years the medical companies will come out with something that works and is safe to take. I wish you all the luck with your RA
