Definately stay away, I ate Shellfsh, crab etc....I  was okay depending on the

coast it came from, first few reactions I got rash, swollen lips, hives

etc....the third time I had an anapylactic reaction and now have epi pens all

around. each time it gets worse, my advice stay away.......

Does anyone have experience/knowledg e about shellfish allergies?

My mother, who has fibro/CFS and RA among other things- mostly immune related,

seems to have developed a shellfish allergy. The last three times she's eaten

shrimp or crab (different recipes/places) she's had vomiting/etc within a few

hours of eating.

Is shellfish typically a no-no?

(My son does eat fried shrimp occasionally. .. is that a " depends on the person "

food?)

My mother is wondering if, with that type of allergic reaction, she should also

stay away from foods that are cooked/processed in the same place as shellfish?

Has the diet helped others with swelling/pain/ immune disorders?

Any info would be great, thanks!

I have auto immune problems and fibro as well. Dr. G currently is treating me

for HHV6, chronic strep and EBV along with severe environmental and food

allergies.

Yes, the diet has helped to reduce fatigue, improve concentration and

reduce the number of migraines each week.

All the best,

Robyn
