Guest guest
Just another thought about a milk replacer. My daughter has life threatening food allergies to all animal milk and a mild allergy to soy. I give her Elecare formula. It has it's pro's and con's. Pro's are that it has lots of fat, protein, and calories. Con's are corn syrup, trace amounts of soy, and it's VERY expensive. I picked this for my daughter because she is only three and I couldn't put her on rice or potato milk because she was under weight. She has gained two pounds in the last few months and I think the formula has helped with that. I told Dr. G that I was giving her formula. He appeared to be okay with it but I need to bring the label in for him to review. Some insurance will pay for it but my doesn't.
