Guest guest
Does anyone have experience/knowledge about shellfish allergies? My mother, who has fibro/CFS and RA among other things- mostly immune related, seems to have developed a shellfish allergy. The last three times she's eaten shrimp or crab (different recipes/places) she's had vomiting/etc within a few hours of eating. Is shellfish typically a no-no? (My son does eat fried shrimp occasionally... is that a " depends on the person " food?) My mother is wondering if, with that type of allergic reaction, she should also stay away from foods that are cooked/processed in the same place as shellfish? Has the diet helped others with swelling/pain/immune disorders? Any info would be great, thanks! - in Mobile, AL ______________________________________ " You must write for children in the same way as you do for adults, only better.
