thanks khaya,as i mentioned before, i have never taken note of the seasonal affect.  but from what i hear here, it is very significant.  funny, my fibro dr. has commented many times regarding seasonal flares in fibro.  so i will take notice from now on.

today, i woke up feeling unbelievably better than yesterday.  can't explain it, but will take it and be grateful.  so, i guess the next step is that i will be going after the lyme now.  i keep hearing about the heavy metals that are released when killing lyme.  i was tested for them at the fibro and fatigue center and they showed acceptable.  don't know if that means they will necessarily be ok as i treat.

what is recommended to use for heavy metals as i coil for lyme.  also, anything else i'm suppose to do at that time.barbara

Hi Barbara,

A lot of people have trouble with the change of seasons--not just us lymies. Long ago I was advised to do a liver flush every spring and fall (which I don't, necearrily). I just keep in mind that changes in the weather are often difficult, and i pay special attention to windy days, since spring and fall in Michigan are times when a lot of leaf-mold is blowing around. So if it's windy, I spend less time outside. We have our thermostat set for constant air circulation so that, even if the heat or A/C is not on, the air is constantly moving through the filters.

Another thing going on right now--the full moon and perigee are very close. I wrote this up for my LD support group which met yesterday: FULL MOON is Friday, April 6, 3:19 pm, and the Perigee (moon close to earth) is the next day, April 7, 12:59 pm and quite close, making this month's Full Moon quite strong for those of us who are affected by it. The strongest Full Moon for 2012 is May 5, when the closest Perigee of the year is on the same day. (These are Eastern Standard Time, so your times in Washington will be earlier, I think.) Forewarned is forearmed!
