Guest guest
Debbie, What do you mean by " second set of rods put in her eyes " ? I remember my basic science (rods and cones etc.) but I didn't realize there was a procedure to improve such things... Thanks, Anne Debbie Cachia wrote: > Hi everyone, > We had some bad news about Susie and I wanted to share it with all of > you. Guest guest
Hi Anne, Susie has no tear ducts, so they decided to insert plastic rods (not tubes) in her eyes where the tear ducts should be. They stay in place by a stich and in 3 months come out and hopefully the holes will stay open. It didn`t work for Susie so she is having it done again, if it doesn`t work this time she will have the reconstructive surgery done to drill out tear ducts. Debbie.
