Wnet to a conference tonght and there is now real clical data showing

that 70% of children on the spectrum were born under the influence of

Pitosin(oxytocin) What they do not know is if the baby is not

sending the signal for labor to start, so the child is already having

problems, or if there is too much oxytocin where given during

delivery that the babies nervous system will shut down(down regulate)

and this is where it may begin. Interestingly, many of the other

child with autism are born premature, in which case they would more

than likely have a c-section and they too would not be exposed to the

normal amount of oxytocin that would be produced during a normal

delivery. So too much or not enough is causing the same reaction.

The have nowfinished a real clinical trial on adults with autism with

IV oxytocin, and the results did show both reduction in higher order

repetative behavior and increased social cognition compared to

placebo. They also saw similiar effects with the use of

vVasopressen, which is often used for bed wetting. Who know an

autistic child could be making significant gain with this, but the

connection is not being made to the Vasopressen. There are now going

to do a trial with Oxytocin nasal spray with adaults only. This is

supposedly the first time they have found something that can help

with the social end of this. They have found virtuaaaly no side

effects. Sound promising. And I need to mention this, I went this

meeting with a baot load of people, none of which did not hacve a

premature babay and or was not given pitosin.

The other thing they are now looking into with immune issues is

actually a lack of a parasite in the gut, which is found in more

rural areas where child are eating dirt and not living in this

antibacterial world. Just as some bacteria are bad, some are good,

this parasite is good, but we have wiped it out producing allergies,

asthma and such.. The study is still in progress, but what they are

seeing, when givin this parasitic crap, it is basically acting as an

immune modulator, so they are finally opening their eyes to

medications that encourage immune modulation and that these children

do indeed have immune problems.
