Guest guest
I actually do not agree with this. There is a " very small " group and I mean extremely small group of children born autistic. Whether or not the mother was vaccinated while pregnant, or ate seafood, or ate MSG, or has silver fillings all of which may be factors, etc. etc. etc. is an entirely different story. I am quite certain that my teenager's generation will seen lots of unvaccinated Autistic children though... > > > http://www.rense.com/general85/cant.htm > > > > >
Guest guest
I agree - in my opinion from what I have seen it probably is things that Dawn mentions below But in most cases I see it is because some type of drug in pregnancy - usually antibiotics, or antibiotics around delivery or mom with antibiotics after that go thru breastmilk and/or baby gets antibiotics right away. Also use of tylenol is implicated. And can be emotional factors with issues during pregnancy. Or the parents find out the baby actually did get hep b at birth (and had refused it). These are some of my concerns and had wanted to do research/survey with all unvaccinated with autism. I do not know of any unvaxed with regressive autism - other than some with antibiotic use. All unvaxed with autism that I know have been autistic since birth. The problem here is the label autism, also. Should not be used to label everything that it does right now Sheri >I actually do not agree with this. There is a " very small " group and >I mean extremely small group of children born autistic. Guest guest
I actually attend Dr. Eisensteins primarily non vaccinating practice and attended one of his vaccine information meetings about a year ago. He said in his 30 years of practice he has had 2 cases of autism in his practice from children who were not vaccinated, so this isnt an accurate article
Guest guest
I agree. I know a little boy with autism, no vax, and mom had no vaxes during pregnancy. It does happen. Guest guest
And I'm dealing with autism in david and he's never had a vaccine either so it's not a b/w thing, no autism =no vaccine. there's more than one cause for autism. I think it's a combo of things Nita (crew chief) and the crew: 16, Jon 14, 12, 10, 7, Christian (7/16/03 to 8/22/04), 3 and Isaac, 1 http://momof6.dotphoto.com <http://momof6.dotphoto.com/> for not necessarily current pictures http://nitasspot.blogspot.com Learn from the mistakes of others. Guest guest
Exactly... our environment is toxic. I am dealing with asthma in an unvaccinated kid, too, so illness is out there, just not as prevalent in the unvaccinated. I shudder to think would have happened had I vaccinated, too! I HIGHLY suspect antibiotic use for a lot of the chronic illness that we also associate with vaccines. Pile them all up together with all the toxins in the standard household and in the environment and it's a recipe for disaster any way you look at it! At least we here are minimizing the exposure, even though we can't avoid it altogether. In the last couple of weeks I have had two of my ten-month-old son's health care providers state that my son is lucky to have been born to parents who do not vaccinate, because his immune system is so compromised that he likely would not have survived the Hep B shot at birth. They both went on to state that if he had managed to survive the Hep B at birth, he most likely would not have survived DTaP and the other vaccines at 2 months. I had this gut feeling all along, as my son does seem very fragile (but has an extremely strong will), but to hear health professionals say that is very sobering. I had to hospitalize my son two weeks ago as we almost lost him and even the allopathic pulmonary ped specialist was relieved to hear we did not vaccinate him. He was trying to rule out possible causes of the asthma, and was able to cross vaccines off the list, with a sigh of relief. I attribute my son's current state to the fact that I used antibiotics while pregnant with him and again later, early in his nursing career. I regret using them and wish I could go back and make my decisions again. Everyone tries to convince me (even my chiro, who is vehemently against all drug use under most circumstances) that I needed both of these rounds of antibiotics and that in the circumstances I was under the benefits far outweighed the risks, but I can't help but think that I should have tried that " one more thing " before giving in to the antibiotics. I just thank God every day that I never used Tylenol nor have I ever given it to my son. That would have only compounded the problem! Guest guest
I have heard of cases of regressive autism in non-vaccinated individuals, too. Although I do believe it can be a trigger in those with dysfunctional immune systems. My daughter had her vaccines until she was 6 months old, and we stopped long before I suspected autism. She regressed at 13 months old by losing her words and she stopped responding to her name and socializing. I am not sure what happened but I know it wasn't a vaccine that did it. Guest guest
I have a friend who has three children on the spectrum. The first one had a reaction to the vaccinations so she refused to vaccinate her next two and they both were diagnosed as well, so it was obviously more then the vaccinations. My oldest received the five-in-one vaccinations and I feel this worsened his condition, he was a premie too. My youngest had the first four vaccinations before my oldest was diagnosed and then I quit with him because the whole issue was and still is too upsetting for me. My youngest had problems also. We jumped on it right away and he has a few issues but is overall just fine. So I think Dr G is right, there is an immune problem to begin with and the vaccinations can trigger it into autism. The earlier the treatment and help you get (my youngest) the better the outcome. I don't know if I'll ever get my oldest (12) to where my youngest is. The whole thing is so confusing and gut-wrenching because I think each of our children is different and what works for one might not work for the next one. Anyway, I'm rambling on here. The bottom line is there are quite a few children I know of who were never vaccinated and they still are getting diagnosed autistic. Jerri > > > Sorry guys. Guest guest
My children attend a school that does 1:1 ABA therapy and I know of several children there with autism that have never been vaccinated. This is a small sample but autism can occur with children that have never been vaccinated. I do believe in a different vaccination schedule for a children and Hep B should NOT be given at birth, perhaps during their adolescent years but we should really stick to the treatment plan. The writer of this original email may prefer a biomedical listserve or website. All the best, Jill

Guest guest
My son's tipping point was the actual flu itself. He had also reacted and regressed from the MMR but he got 'it' back. The flu ... that was far more intense. ________________________________ From: Kristy Nardini <knardini@...> Sent: Thursday, March 26, 2009 6:45:15 PM Subject: RE: NO AUTISM In Never-Vaccinated Children Looking back, I believe my son's 'tipping point' was after a flu vaccination he received at 18 months, then came down with rotovirus a few days later. From that point forward, he was sick all the time. HOWEVER, the flu shot he received was a SINGLE DOSE and I read the package insert myself and saw no signs of thimerosol. (He had received the MMR 6 months prior to that). Aside from the wisdom of spacing vaccines out, its not the vaccines that we should be concerned about, it's the mercury or aluminum preservative that is still in many of the shots. The flu shots still contain the mercury and these are currently recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics for infants and pregnant women. It's also in the Rho D shots given to mothers for Rh factor incompatibility. So if the full recommendations are followed, there is still mercury being directly injected. A good many individuals cant take that hit. ray ____________ _________ _________ __ From: groups (DOT) com <mailto:% 40groups. com> [mailto:groups (DOT) com <mailto:% 40groups. com> ] On Behalf Of JOSKAT95aol (DOT) com <mailto:JOSKAT95% 40aol.com> Sent: Thursday, March 26, 2009 4:13 PM groups (DOT) com <mailto:% 40groups. com> Subject: Re: NO AUTISM In Never-Vaccinated Children We have four families in our clinic who did not vaccinate their children. Guest guest
I was convinced of this when my son was diagnosed but he received his vaccinations from a research project (our pediatrician insisted it was safe and in the final stages), they were the five in ones (I could just barf right now, how I wish I hadn't done this, I couldn't stand all the shots, so this was recommended) anyway there was no thimerasol in them. I had a urine provocation test done to test for heavy metals after reading all about mercury causing autism. The alternative Dr. I went to said no mercury or heavy metals was found in my son and he did not recommend chelation. So it was not so in our case. > > Just to chime in on this issue. Guest guest
That is so true in many cases... But remember that vaccines are not the only way to expose a child to Mercury and other toxic elements as well as viruses... My understanding is that mercury can pass via the placenta also... Therefore a vaccinated mother can pass some mercury load onto her baby setting the scene for further problems further down the track....like all the fish we have eaten, amalgams... and don't forget the viruses in vaccines we received too... That, besides other types of environmental exposures like pesticides, bad food choices and medications!!!!  They say the reason we live longer than men is because with each menstrual cycle we DETOX, and with pregnancies too!!! The best way to chelate a woman is a PREGNANCY!!!  Now imagine after that blow to the fetus... he comes out already vulnerable to the world and received with a deadly vaccine schedule!!! It just adds up and makes things worse for that child!!! Don't you think?!!! Love, Gabby. :0) http://stemcellforautism.blogspot.com/  " I know of nobody who is purely Autistic or purely neurotypical.
