hi khaya,construction stuff is very disrupting.  we've been building for years. but now you can clean behind the furniture. this is the second time i've filed for disability.  in 1995 i was awarded ssi (for those who haven't worked and have no/little income) for fms.  when i remairried i lost it because of husbands income.  this time  i filed, at the suggestion of s.s. because i had worked just enough to acquire the needed credits to qualify for ssid.  i still have the fms and also cfids, which we all know is probably lyme, but they recognize fms and cfids, so ok, i have dx of those.

i did the first 2 filings myself and then got an attorney.  you can't get it without one at this stage.  so will see how it goes.thanks for your support.barbara

 

Good luck with your hearing! Some people have to use an attorney in order to get SSDI--it can be really hard. If you are not successful, your local LD association might now an attorney with SS experience.
