Guest guest
Hi all, I'm new to the listing but have been in other large groups. Can anybody share their success stories or breakthrough progress via ? We've done the Yasko protocol and other DAN related stuff. We're about to start Valtrex therapy to see if there would be die-off related behaviors as a sign for viral cause to neuro-immune. My 4yo autistic son and 3yo daughter have off-the-chart food allergies (33,000+ and 12,000+ respectively while normal is around 79) and extreme eczema. We've had 2 sessions with Dr. Goldberg now. We like many parents are still lost in the sea of alternative approaches to Autism as traditional med practitioners are not much help. Thanks
Guest guest
I have three boys on the protocol. One is mild/moderate " A " word, one is Asperger's and one is more in the ADHD category. My most severely affected son has been with Dr. G just a little over a year and we've seen a lot of progress. He was very ill when he started the protocol. He had a condition called Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome, which caused week long vomiting every month. This was preceded and followed by migraine headaches. He also had a seizure disorder. After not quite four months on Valtrex, the cyclical vomiting stopped and his migraines are almost non existent now. He's covered more ground academically this year than all the years previous (he's 8 and in 2nd grade). My oldest son, Asperger's, has been on the protocol just about a year. His GPA went from 3.5 to 4.0. He has significant food allergies and bad eczema. Both have improved. Unfortunately, he still has very low NK cells, so he's starting Immunovir this month. My youngest is in kindergarten and was no doubt headed for a diagnosis of ADHD or worse. His emotional outbursts were awful and often resulted in his threatening to kill himself. This would happen 3-5 times per week. Although he still gets angry about stuff (who doesn't?), he doesn't go ballistic, and it's much easier to " talk him down. " At this point, none of my kids are fully recovered. They are works in progress, but we've seen some great results.
