Guest guest
susan, good link. so it is coming, maybe already here as they put this stuff on the market before we know it. did you hear about the michigan pig farmers that were faced with killing all their stock of native pig, which they have grown forever. they shot them because if the swat teams got there and found the animals alive the farmer faced fine, jailed as felons, and have their stock killed by swatt teams anyway--really. so they shot their entire stock, piglets included to keep out of jail. it was all over the news. big ag. didn't want the competition. if you notice they are coming out with gmo hogs. hmmm. barbara Here is some info about making wheat higher in Gluten: For many centuries growers have used a variety of breeding techniques to make the grain thresh and mill more easily and to increase the gluten content of the endosperm to make lighter, stickier flour products. This information came from this site if you want to read the whole article: http://www.thenaturalrecoveryplan.com/articles/What-Happened-to-Wheat.html > > > > > > > > Has anyone tried a gulten free diet? Guest guest
You're right Barbara--it's always about money. Hardly anyone in a position of power cares what's good for people and our health any more. : ( The Lyme Diet recommends that everyone is better off gluten-free, whether they have an allergy or not. I am allergic to gluten and don't even use sprouted grains any more. But my husband is only allergic to wheat--he can have spelt or sprouted wheat without any problem. But we're both allergic to corn, soy and dairy. So we have to be very careful when we go out, as well as when we shop for gluten-free items. And since most gluten-free items are made from white rice flour, we avoid those as well. Even too much brown rice seems to be too high in carbohydrates for me.
