Guest guest
Have you tried tumeric?? If you can put it into capsules, take 2-3 a day....maybe try some MSM for it too... deep tissue oil, try taking some organic iron for the headache...of even feverfew. There is also a nerve sedative formula in the files which would help.Suzidoihavtasay <doihavtasay@...> wrote: I am having severe muscle spasm in my shoulder, neck and then up to my head which has been giving me a horrible headache that has lasted for three days. I went in to the Dr yesterday as I had no idea what was causing this headache and had my back adjusted ( my whole left side is lower due to carrying sweat pea around a lot )and was given muscle relaxant which I gladly took yesterday as I was fixing to hit my head against a brick wall to numb the pain LOL It was bad.. so this morning the head is manageable and now I can feel the epi center in my shoulder. It would be silly to think that one night of pills has cured this so am looking for alternatives to the pills for the up coming days. The Dr has written me a script to get some PT to help keep my back in alignment so hopefully that will be my long term answer, but I still need to get over this crisis period of nasty spasm. Been applying moist heat and was using peppermint oil very liberally before the drugs, and that did help, but it the pain was still crazy. What is a natural muscle relaxer? What calms inflamed unhappy nerves? What helps headaches caused by muscle spasm? Any one have a good web site of exercises that might help coax the muscles out of their current nasty state? Also a very good massage would do wonders using some Lavender essential oil in your choice of base oil. Lavender is antispasmodic and nervine and is also a relaxant. Then again if you happen to have some lavender flowers brew yourself up a tea with some chamomile and allow yourself to relax in a tub of quite hot water with your choice of essential oils in it and maybe some epsom salts too. Do let us know how you get on with this. Peace be with you Carol. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
