Guest guest
> I am seeing reliv a lot lately, would you say it is better than the > Brainchild vitamins or have you not tried the Brainchild. Just curious as to what most are taking. reliv is a multivitamin/mineral powder very much like dan-plex or all- one. dan-plex is also called ASD-plex. I've tried all three of them. The biggest issue is the taste. I just couldn't stomach it or find anyway to mask it well enough. Other people don't have that problem, though. Other than that, the profile looked very good. Reliv is an MLM product, just so you know. I was hounded by some 'well-wishers' for several months. The product looks very good, though, if you can do a powder. Might ask for a sample to test first. Or buy from ebay so you can test it independently. Here are the product sites: http://www.reliv.com/ http://www.millnut.com/ASD-plex-Hypoallergenic-Nutrition-for-Kids- Powder_p_3-7.html As far as multis go, Brainchild is extremely good. On the lower budget end, Animal Parade tends to be quite well tolerated. .
Guest guest
My problem with reliv is that I think soy is not recommended for, in large amounts. Also the iron in this product is not good for some people who already have an oxidative stress load, 8 mgs is a lot of iron. If the iron is synthetic, it completely destroys Vitamin E. multi-vitamin > > > I'm looking for a good basic multi-vitamin. Guest guest
Thanks for your reply, oxidative stress is something we have to worry about. Guest guest
Reliv has worked very well for us but the flavor is hard to mask, (choco & vanilla). Most kids like it but my son if just too picky and refuses so I am using the reliv now product which is not the kids formula. It comes in a mild vanilla flavor and a plain. I put it in rice milk with cereal and he cannot taste the difference. My 4yo son is autistic and has very little speech but with reliv so far his bm's are regular and the speech has picked up. He never has aggression of any kind but he has always been pretty mild mannered. He no longer covers his ears, he is starting to play with other kids a little more and seems to listen a little better as well. I am always looking for the magic answer so if anyone has any other safe suggestions, I will be listening. I also wanted to mention that there should be services for all children in most every state. Here in AZ we have DDD - Division of Developmental Disabilities once you fill out the application and they feel you child needs services they will set up therapists to come to your home every week. Another great deal of help is SARC (Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center) Best of luck to all. Corina multi-vitamin > > > I'm looking for a good basic multi-vitamin. Guest guest
>>>Maybe it's just me, but I refuse to pay $85.00 for a month's worth of vitamins that have inexpensive and worthless synthetic Vitamin E in them. Nope, not just you. That is a lot of $$, and synthetic supplements can be just as bad as other synthetics (artificial flavorings, colorings, preservatives, etc). I actually went to giving a good greens supplements and a minerals only with enzymes instead of multi- vitamin. Anyone have opinions on the Nature's Plus Source of Life multis? There are variations of it including a chewable, in drink form, and mini-tablets. This is what it looks like: http://www.vitaminlife.com/product- exec/PNAME/Source_Of_Life/product_id/15068 http://www.vitaminlife.com/search.php? search_term=source+of+life & search_type=all & brand=225 & nodecode=true & x=2 3 & y=10 & gclid=CILml9eNpoYCFSOKSAodyVZF2w . Guest guest
I love whole food vitamins. The problem in this one is the iron, 18 mgs! Is it from the whole foods or synthetic, Iron amino acid chelate sounds synthetic. Synthetic iron totally destroys Vitamin E and this much iron is not good for our kids as it creates additional oxidate stress on top of existing oxidative stress. Finding a good multi is hard. Guest guest
Hi Judy, I have taken Centrum multi vitamins for years with good results. Regards, Dee _____ From: rheumatic [mailto:rheumatic ] On Behalf Of Judkeels@... Sent: Sunday, January 28, 2007 5:29 PM rheumatic Subject: rheumatic multi-vitamin Hi group....thought I'd throw this topic into our mix here. I assume all or most of us are taking a multi vitamin along with the AP and our separate supplements, etc. I've been thinking recently that I've tried many different brands from the local health store to purchasing them at my holistic doc's office and I even did the metabollic testing from Dr Mercola two yrs ago and bought the appropriate vitamins for me. I'm wondering now if I need to take a really superior multi and wondered what some of you recommend and have tried with success. It sounds so elementary but yet it's so important to take the right one. It's just one more " piece to the puzzle " as my doc always says. Thanks for your imput Judy

Guest guest
Hello group, I'm still searching for the right multi-vit for my son. I'm looking for one with out copper. My son has a past history of copper intolerance, & I think that's the reason he doesn't do well with Flintstones. Is there another multi besides Flintstones that Dr.G. approves? Does any one know a good multi-vit with out copper?? I appreciate any feed back. God bless
Guest guest
I like one by Klaire Labs called vita spectrum. Guest guest
Hi boopercat, I can't tell you for multivitamin, but for multiminerals I like chelate mate from new beginnings. You don't need to be chelating in order to supplement it, it's a clear liquid, no odor and as good as tasteless. Isa Enviado desde mi oficina móvil BlackBerry® de Telcel [ ] multi-vitamin Need your best recommendation for mutivitamins or mineral formulas and the like for my daughter. Need a liquid I can mix with juice because pills have never worked. Seventeen years and she's still never swallowed one. I give up on that. Thanks in advance
