Hi there. My son has a gluten intolerance s i was wondering what GF bread is

best with this diet. I currently use Kinnikinnick's Alta GFCFSF breads however

I read in an old messge that tapioca should be avoided. These breads use

Tapioca flour.

Thanks in advance for the recommendations

The diet is not gluten free, so I don't think there is any recommendation

for a g/f bread.  Dr.G. had strongly suggested not to do g/f for us.  We used to

do the brown rice g/f bread before.  My son now eats white wheat bread every

other day or so.

You may want to discuss with Dr.G. if you want your son to stay g/f.

God bless

My son, too, does fine with processed white flour bread in small amounts. He

would get HYPER with tapioca.

I had assumed that he was intolerant to gluten, but trusted Dr. G and tried

the white bread and he's been fine with it.

We do not do gluten because we suspect our son has celiac. He has had a positive

test result in the past but we never did an endoscopy to verify it. We have a

family history of celiac and diabetes so it kind of made sense. GF really has

to be the way to go with our son. Sorry, I probably should've added that bit of

information in my original post.

Sorry, but I forgot to ask if tapioca starch gives your son the same reaction as

the tapioca flour. I had seen in the archives the tapioca flour is supposed to

be off limits.

Thanks for you help.
