Guest guest
Cheryl, Being positive and encouraged is the biggest step towrad recovery. I blonged to one of the biggest Boards for Thyroid for over a year and the few things i got out of it were, a few (very few) people taking control of their health, and focusing on positive outlook/attitude. The mod of that board has a book on Thyroid and i got it and read it and again, the main thing i got out of it was that you have be willing to take control and be responsible for your own health. It was at that point that i decided that meds (and medicos) were doing nothing to truly help me and then the reaserch started. So once again, do be encouraged, do be positive, and do NOT look back (other than to share and tell others how you recovered!) I tell people all the time, " if I could do it, anyone can " because i am the biggest baby/woosie/coward there is and i did do it and i am so very thankful to everyone that helped me learn and get thru. I have felt such despair over this, but after reading that others here have overcome this (the thyroid groups are full of people who are struggling. Then again; they are changing nothing except the fact they are on meds)I am very encouraged! > > > > > > > ~ Cheryl ~
