Guest guest
Hello All, Yesterday my husband took our sons Connor and to Dr. Goldberg for 6 week appt. as I had a school event with my daughter who graduates next week. Both Connor and have been on protocol since end of December 08.. We've had absolutley no progression and in fact my son is having increased seizures (he was seizure free until he turned 15 yrs). Dr. Goldberg wants to begin Tennix and Affexir in 5 weeks (Im still not clear why it's not immediate - as my husband and sons arrived home late lst night and my husband left today for a business trip[) Has anyone been on Tennix and Affexir? Can anyone explain to me why he wants to wait 5 weeks (I guess other than reviewing the blood work taken yesterday) Sorry for the lame questions - but since I wasnt there yesterday I'm trying to piece the office visit together. Any help or advice would be welcomed Many thanks Cherie ...
Guest guest
Hi Cherie, Our son takes Tenex to calm him down, he used to be extra hyper. It workes great. Effexor was a not a good match for our son. Good luck. . Guest guest
I am so sorry, Cherie, that you have not seen any benefits, yet! I wonder if your sons are on the right antiviral? As for the Tenex, my daughter was on it and it an antihypertensive drug that is used to increase blood flow to a specific part of the brain as to decrease hyperactivity and improve attention. My daughter was on it and it made her tired and did not help her because her issue was a different one: her allergies. Unlike DAN treatments, in every drug is tested on each child one at a time, so the doctor knows what works and what doesn't. Each child is their own " control " so to speak.
