Hi - I have an autistic son and have been doing the nids protocol with Dr

for 3 years now. I love to read your posts on the nids board - they are

always so encouraging and I learn so much from them! When I read your

description of your son from 18 months ago, I felt like you were describing my

son in so many ways! I think you said that your son suffered seizures, however,

and my son doesn't (he had a clear EEG when he was 2). Were you suggesting that

anti-seizure meds would be helpful even if you didn't have seizures?

We have an appointment with Dr next week and I wondered if you minded

sharing with me what all you have done with your son so I could talk with Dr

about doing some of those things. I know you do high dose probiotics,

but I don't know how much is a high dose and which brand do you use? I also

remember you do ibuprofen therapy for inflamation, but again I don't know how

much you do there.

My son is 7 now and I really hoped we would be further down the 'recovery road'

by now. When you talked about your son wandering around the house not knowing

what to do, that is so my son and I hate that nothing really brings him pleasure

except stimming on rewinding the video over and over!

I hope you don't mind me emailing you, but from the tone of your message posts,

I figured you'd be glad to help. Thank you for your encouragement!
