Guest guest
sorry for the confusion - pubmed for some reason comes up with memantine in results whilst searching for amandatine+autism. they are not the same thing!! memantine has been used (several studies, good effects), it is a glutamate blocker etc. Amantadine is an antiviral and also used in parkinsons off label. I'm interested in it because of its use in biopolar/borna virus Natasa x > > has anyone on this list been prescribed this by drG or other docs? > > our son seems to be bipolar (in addition to mild asd), and looks like a good candidate.
