Guest guest
Are allergic reactions to bites/stings common in families? My 3.5 yr old " typical " son reacted to fire ant bites (3) on his feet with hives over ALL his body this afternoon- SCARY! He's gotten a few bites in his lifetime without this reaction. I spoke to our local nurse and she said the doctor might want to give us an epipack for future issues. We go in on Wednesday for a well-baby check-up for our daughter so we'll talk to her then. I personally welt up from mosquito bites, but it's localized. Just curoius to know if this is common in family with immune issues. - in Mobile, AL (the port of entry of fire ants into the USA!- no joke!) ______________________________________ " You must write for children in the same way as you do for adults, only better.
