Need help with Low Carb Diet

Writing for my daughter. My grandson has been on Dr. G`s protocol since July

of 08.

He has had some ups & downs in behavior also major difficulties in sleep. Dr.

G says it is probably diet related want us to eliminate carbs.

This child is a picky eater the only vegetable he will eat is green beans, not

eating meat is a problem he loves pastas & potatoes will not eat fruit only

apple sauce.

Any suggestions if anyone has this problem with their child Also would like to

know recepes that are Low Carb

Thanks

Carole

I too focus on a protein heavy diet. Weekly I cook a roast beef and serve sliced

MR Roast beef at breakfast and/or lunch daily. My son loves it. Back when-I

started with ground beef /meatballs but I would chop/food process various

veggies that I wanted to acclimate him to. I then sauteed them in beef broth and

mixed them with raw ground beef (eggs and rice flour to bind them) and made

meatballs. We introduced a wide range of veggies using this method and over time

he acquired a taste for lots of stuff.
