Guest guest
We are about to make another trip to see Dr. Goldberg next week. We are most anxious about staying true to the diet without access to a kitchen in our hotel room. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where we could eat out while in Tarzana. I know there is a whole foods and Trader Joe's close by and we do have a refrigerator and microwave. Thanks for any tips. Martha
Guest guest
Martha, A few years ago when we went out for an office visit, someone recommended In-N-Out Burger to us (there are a lot of them around). You can check it out at www.in-n-out.com and see if that might be a good stop for you. The burgers are milk-free, but you might want to check on the buns to be sure. There¹s a spread on some of the burgers... not sure what¹s in that but you can just have it left off. The fries are just cooked in vegetable oil. Maybe one of the locals can help us out on what¹s ³safe² on the menu there. Another place you can go is the Mc¹s right across the street from Dr. Goldberg¹s office. Not gourmet fare, but predictable and close.
