Guest guest
Dr. G put my son on Paxil a month ago. He was AWFUL for the first 10 days (tantrums, stimming, ADD, etc.) then started getting better. At the same time, he developed an upper respiratory infection and sore throat. We put him on an antibiotic (Biaxin) to clear that up, and his behavior regressed (tantrums, stimming, ADD, etc.). Three days ago, we doubled the dose per Dr. G's instructions. Lucas is still awful. He has turned into a stimming machine. That's all he ever does. And it's like someone plugged him into a battery that's too strong for his body. He almost vibrates with extra energy, like it's too much. I told Dr. G, but he wants us to keep going for awhile. I honestly don't think I can take it anymore. I feel like Lucas is slipping away. But here's the even bigger problem: Dr. G has had us switch so many things around the past few months, that I don't know what is causing what anymore. I feel like I'm in a hole and can't see the light. Any advice?
