OT caster oil for labor

Hi, marie,could not find the thread where we were talking about this so started a new one.  i copied the response from my daughter (i do copy/paste pretty well--lol)  

For Elle. But the woman's body has to be ready. Elle was 12 days overdue. Boy was I ready!2 ounces -NOT 2 cups! ONLY 2 OUNCES.

I tried mixing it with scrambled eggs. Gross. Tried it in orange juice, gross-gagged. Finally, mixed it with a Coconut Frappaccino. Drink it fast so it doesn't seperate.She needs to drink it in the evening after all chores and the such are done. Lay down and watch a movie and relax.

Moving around doing chores doesn't allow her body to relax and oil may not work.If oil does not work, wait one day, then try again.•Lynae•

Good to know indeed 12 dasy is a lot ! tis baby had no intention to live the confort of the nest hhhe or she will not be an advanturous one !

warning will robinson!! all castor oil did for me when overdue was give me horrendous diarrhea.... I had to sleep with a towel- it was totally awful. sara,ah, you like the same series/movie i do.  'danger will robinson' i always want to say that but many don't get it because they didn't see the old series or the new movie.  the series is where you heard it over and over.  loved it.

i have heard the c.oil both ways.  my daughter went to a mid wife and she didn't deliver if the baby was over 2 wks late and the date was fast approaching and she was nervous.  willing to try anything at that point.  lucky for her it worked.

i was almost 3 wks late with my son.  they tried everything to encourage labor, but nothing would work.  he just didn't want to come.  finally induced and then didn't take him long.  

and marie, he was never a very adventurous one when little.  he is still gentle and non aggressive, wonderful father of 4 girls ages 4-9, but is getting into more adventurous things in his 30's.  great person.

now, my daughter's daughter, who was late, she is somewhat shy also.  there is a part of her that can be aggressive, but i think the shyness is dominate.  so that theory may be right.
