Guest guest
Hi Carolina, I believe muscle testing is a way of finding answers to questions, which can help with decisions about the healing process, but it does not accomplish healing by itself. There are other hands-on modalities that can contribute to healing, like Reiki and Polarity and various types of massage, but I do not believe that any of them can cure LD--only help relieve symptoms temporarily. I think there are a lot of techniques that are worth taking the time to learn, if you are interested. Guest guest
I have been seeing a ND, muscle tester who says he can get me better. He said his daughter had lyme and through his work, the asyra and at the end some abx, she was able to get better. I am wondering if this is possible. He does have a rife machine, but I think it is an old version that I have never heard of. He claims it doesn't work well. I wonder if I should still try his rife machine, even though it isn't anything I have heard of, to see if that would help. I am so confussed which directon I should go with at this point. Ive tried abx for 6 mo's and that didn't do anything. What are your other ideas for getting better? You had mentioned massage???? Thanks so much!!! Guest guest
Hi Jen, What is asyra? Have you been on the same antibiotic for six months, or have you tried more than one? Remember, if you have had LD for a long time, it will take you longer to get better than someone who has just been bitten. And LD becomes immune to an antibiotic, sometimes as soon as 3 weeks, but it does not develop immunity to Rife treatments. Has your ND diagnosed you with any co-infections? He can do that if he has them in glass vials. If not, you need a more experienced LLMD or DO or even ND, in my opinion. Massage will not cure lyme, but it will sooth your muscles. Some say that deep-tissue massage stimulates LD, so should be avoided. Yes, it's very confusing. But each time you try something you should get an idea after a while if it works for you or not. An old Rife machine that does not work well may kill some of the spirochetes near the surface, but it might not. Ask you ND how many LD patients he has treated and how much research he's willing to do. And if you are not satisfied, then I think you should contact your local LD association to find a knowledgeable practitioner in your area. Guest guest
Hi Jen, I believe strongly in muscle testing. However, it is purely practitioner dependent with regard to accuracy. Even the best of the best get it wrong occasionally and let their own intention enter into the outcome of a muscle test. Dr Klinghardt told me I had Bartonella based on muscle testing that he did on me. I do believe that my physical presentation, weight issues due to super low thyroid and stretch marks due to pregnancies may have influenced the outcome of his test. He based his own belief on my physical appearance which further influenced the muscle test. I treated Bart with the coil for 4 months with no herxheimer reaction. I even tried the Zhang herb Houtynia Cordata with no herx. If it is possible it is always good to get a follow up lab test or a second muscle tester to verify results. As far as your Naturopath's rife device. There is a lot of junk out there and he could be right that it is not good. If you could find out the make and model, we can further research it's effectiveness for you. Is it a handheld device or a plasma device? > > I have been seeing a ND, muscle tester who says he can get me better.
