Guest guest
I too would love to know the answer to this. I have only heard of three recovered kids. Surely there are more. Anxious to hear feedback. Guest guest
Hi JR, I think this is a great idea to track these statistics to show the progress for those willing to share their results with (which is usually quite a high percentage willing to give this data from my limited experience). This could help put Dr G.'s work to the forefront, rather than the quick-cure recovery people which are becoming more of a distraction. Since his work focuses on getting our kids' immune systems healthier, statistical analysis of the data over time would be a helpful tool. I can offer my services in the database area if needed, let me know. Thanks, ________________________________ From: <jrodrig6605@...> nids Sent: Tuesday, July 7, 2009 1:04:06 PM Subject: How often do kids recover when following the protocol? Hi all, I think I have a question that is being asked many times, but I have never read a firm answer to it. How often do kids recover when following the protocol? Is this something anybody has ever ask Dr. Goldberg? Does he have this kind of statistics? Maybe we can create a database in this group to keep track of children's recoveries. What do you think? Guest guest
I don't think there's a definitive answer to this question, , since recovery is an ongoing process and often takes place over many years. Marcia Hinds' son is 20, and she says that the " final pieces " have only fallen into place in the last couple of years. He started with Dr. G when he was 7 years old. Parents of recovered patients tend to drop off these message boards as their lives " normalize, " so they are generally not here to answer our questions about recovery. I know that as my son improves and moves up (and hopefully, off!) the spectrum, I find myself with less to worry about, and posting here less and less often. I was not in attendance at the conference yesterday, but I understand that Dr. G brought in several of his " recovered " patients. I wish I could have been there to talk directly with them! Guest guest
Yes I agree there, I have heard stories of " my kid spoke sentences after they did X therapy/treatment! " I have not experienced that with my daughter. But everyday she surprises me with something new and sometimes I don't even notice how far she has come along until someone else says how much she's changed! Unfortunately, I think a lot of people don't want to take the time to stick with because of that fact. They think their child should get better instantaneously. But it makes sense to me that our kids are very very sick and it took time to get that sick and its going to take time to get better! I have my ideas about how to test our children periodically for improvements but they are just ideas. My 2 meager cents, - > > > > > > Hi all, > > > > I think I have a question that is being asked many times, but I have never read a firm answer to it. > > > > > > > > How often do kids recover when following the protocol? > > > > > > > > Is this something anybody has ever ask Dr. Goldberg? Guest guest
Dr. Goldberg only presented 3 children at the conference because it was basicaly a last minute idea. I was blasted on another list for tying to explain inate immunity, so I told him it didn't matter how much science he presented because they wouldn't believe him anyway. But if the kids answered the questions what could they say? There are recovered children all over the country leading normal productive lives. I do believe the USAAA is selling the DVD. This is real recovery education, social, driving real life! Elyse Goldberg > > I too would love to know the answer to this. I have only heard of three > recovered kids.
