Guest guest
Well, here I am with my first sore throat since afib was diagnosed. I know a lot of cough medicines are bad news for afib, because they contain stimulants. Does anyone know of okay cough syrups and cough drops to use? Thanks. Guest guest
I would be very interested in this. I have just had one of the worst colds and coughs on the go. It is now three weeks later and my sinus's are blocked and the headaches are bad. There is nothing that I know of that I can take. What I have been doing is making Honey and lemon drinks for the throat. And for its soothing effect I have been making ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg drinks. During the Tudor period this was the standard treatment for colds as they were termed hot. They also added cloves etc (standard herbs for mulled wine). But I hate the taste of cloves. Also eat lots of mandarins and oranges for their vit C. Please let me know if you find any decongesterant that is safe? Hope you get better soon.
