Guest guest
I THOUGHT my sink was clean, but man... the metal drain changed colors after the soak and scrubdown. (I usually clean my sink with the scrubby and dish soap after doing dishes each day). I was so inspired that I finally got around to buying some CSR on my lunch break and using the black and decker scrubbrush on my bathroom sinks, which are now nice and gleaming, too. SulaBlue > > Good for you Sula! WTG My kiddos are so much happier, not to mention DH is too, when I am on the FLY. I was off it for most of the time my son was home. But now I getting back " with it " . I haven't yet got dressed yet today... BUT the kids and I are fed, and my sink is shiny! > > > Blessed be, > > >
Guest guest
Just a tip: Buy some Bar Keeper's Friend. It gets my sink so shiny and you don't have to use all the elbow grease like you do with Comet or Ajax. Blessed be,

Guest guest
Uugh.... I have a WHITE kitchen sink (with some surface cracks). I love that it's white, but I'd take a stainless steel for it any day. They clean up so much nicer. I want a B & D scrubber!! Do you think walmart will have one? warmly, Kim On 3/5/07, SulaBlue <sulablue2001@...> wrote: > I THOUGHT my sink was clean, but man... the metal drain changed > colors after the soak and scrubdown. Guest guest
All my sinks are white - an an apartment, which means that any chips have just been sealed with some sort of rubbery paint-like substance (caulk?) that i have to be careful not to rub right off around the drain. I THINK I got my B & D scrubber at Wal-Mart. If not, then it was Target. They're about $40. It has several brush and pad attachments. One's really good for getting into the corners where the walls and tub meet and there's one that's a narrow 'band' brush that's awesome for getting right down into the grout with if you have a problem area. I don't have to do that much, though, since getting one of those Scrubbing Bubble Automatic Shower Cleaners. I still scrub the tub down really well about once or twice a month, but that stuff really does work! SulaBlue > > Uugh.... I have a WHITE kitchen sink (with some surface cracks). Guest guest
Mine is white too. But I love it. I had a stainless steel one in another house we years ago and the hard water made the calcium buildup incredible the only way to keep it nice was to polish it daily. I mean with the real polish the stuff you have to wipe on, let dry, then buff out. Such a pain. With this white one just a good bleaching does the trick. Guest guest
Just another vote of confidence for FlyLady. I found her a few years ago and have really been impressed with how easy it is to stay on top of things for as little as 15 minutes a day. Instead of constantly putting things off or dealing in crisis mode, I can do a little bit and save the rest for when that will be done. I even made a FlyLady book for my older son, ADHD and sensory stuff, so that I didn't have to nag him about cleaning his room or whatever other chore he was supposed to be doing. I just reminded him of his Flylady book and it really helped. Realize this was a conversation from awhile ago but email is not a part of FlyLady chores so just now catching up. sales clerk rude about our > > > child > > > > > > > > > > We had a very disturbing experience today > > that > > > I > > > > > feel moved to share with all of you.
