Hi all,

Can brain SPECT scans be used to measure brain damage?

Does a brain SPECT scan that shows normal brain function means there is no brain

damage?

My son showed marked improvements in his second brain SPECT scan we did on

February 2009 with only slight residual hypoperfusion left. We want to know

what exactly this means. Does it means that he might not have brain damage?

Assumming that the remaining hypoperfusion is gone by now...

Thanks,

JR
