The fresh ones are pretty much out of season as far I know. I got mine at the end of the summer. You can order them dried though. You might even try http://www.greenladysgarden.com. I am certain that they all carry red clover blossoms. NO you don't need to wait until the new moon to make it. Basically, you should be able to begin using it after two weeks. This will give it enough time to pull out some of the active pricipals of both. In three months time it will be pretty potent.
