I have doubled up on her probiotics, she is on the Z pack antibiotic for 5 days, Her strep test was positive, so I have her on ton of liquids, as well. I used olive leaf extract for my kids' strep, it worked VERY WELL. For anti-fungal, besides GSE there are several options. Guest guest
Hi Phil This is the bacteria that causes strep throat: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Streptococcus_pyogenes And this is the " strep " that is in yogurt: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Streptococcus_thermophilus They are two different kinds of bacteria. I hope this is what you were asking about. :-) best wishes Rene > > Hi is strep from in a cdsa the same strep found in yogurt? Guest guest
Hi Phil: I am not sure what cdsa is; but I can tell you this: " the strep bacteria in Yogurt; doesn't have a thing to do with The Strep bacteria which causes Strep throat; different species. anne.-- - In , " philallen876546 " <phiallen@...> wrote: > > Hi is strep from in a cdsa the same strep found in yogurt? Guest guest
My son on the spectrum has not had strep for 8 yrs, (knock on wood ) but when my NT kids get strep they often have a rash above their lip that won't go away and/or a stomach ache. My 9 yr old NT son had what looked like chapped lips for a week or two with no other symptoms, when I finally took him in, he tested positive for strep. Mom of the year award on that one for exposing tons of people. Tami strep Hi, I know I'm being a bit neurotic, but out of 3 children that ride in the county car on the way to school, 2 got strep, and my son did not. He was congested, had a runny nose, and was talking softly one night so his throat could have been bothering him, but seems to be much better today. He had no headache, or temperature, and had an appetite. However, he has had odd stomach aches for weeks, and started to be obcessed with doing the laundry and playing with old toys again. When your children have strep, do they present with all the symptoms? It is also wierd that a few months ago, I had a yucky skin infection on my leg, and the doctor tested it, and it came back positive for strep. The doctor told me she would write me a prescripion because I probably wasn't feeling well, but I felt fine, so we did nothing. I wonder if my immune system is overreatice or something? Thanks for your info. Missy

This would have been eliminated with OLE at my house. OLE eliminated strep and most obsessive tendencies. The strep can be there but not cause " typical symptoms " . It is still there tho, and causing other symptoms. Dana
Guest guest
Strep is a pretty ambiguous bug....it can be topical, systemic or just in the throat. My kids recently had a bout of the nasty stuff and we got almost everything. What we did to help was SPS30 and Olive leaf extract and virastop. The symptoms were a lot less and it did not last nearly as long as usual. I also attribute some of the mildness of the symptoms to Beta Glucan and Epicor.....just my thoughts. That was the last time she ever had strep. Dana, How much OLE did you give to beat the strep? Did your daughter have any PANDAS symptoms? When the strep went away, did other behavioural symptoms also go with it? My daughter's ASLO are still elevated & I'm teetering on the brink of requesting antibiotics. I've been giving her 4 caps of OLE daily going upto 6 or 8 on weekends. Nothing is happening but when I increase the dosage, she reacts badly to the OLE (high phenol) and/or to increase in yeast. M.
