off topic, but kinda on...air conditioner freon leaks and health concerns

We had an air conditioner repair person come over today and tell us that we have

a couple of freon leaks and that it would cost $2500 to repair. Of course, we

panicked a little and asked to put this on hold. The deal is that I've been

feeling crappy for about 3 years now (diagnosed with epstein-barr/chronic

fatigue among other things that contribute to feeling tired) and am wondering if

this freon leak has anything to do with it (along with our little fella's autism

symptoms). Any thoughts?
