Guest guest
Hello, My name if Larnie and my beautiful son is 6 and he has ADHD and some Autism behaviours. I am seeking the help of mums who have a child with ADHD to take part in a study, which looks at misconceptions about ADHD, social disapproval from others who do not understand the disorder, and how this impacts of how we parent our children with ADHD. I need mothers who have a child diagnosed with ADHD (5-10 years of age) to complete a questionnaire. If anyone could help, I would really appreciate your support. All mums can enter the draw to win either a Hoyts Family Movie Pass or a $50.00 Myer voucher. You can register your details on my webpage and I will send the questionnaire to you. www.parenting-and-adhd.vpweb.com.au I really hope you can help. Guest guest
Jeanetta, I was able to open all as well, with firefox and windows vista. Could it be possible that some members are misinterpreting the directions to the ones that don't have an active hyper-link as not being able to open it? Guest guest
It is possible Ronnie. But the two that emailed me privately were very clear that they could not open my files. More emails between myself and they have revealed that one member has a mac computer and not able to open the files with the blue 'W', but all others she can. Karin was able to open all of them, You were too. So are most of the membership. But I am curious. I have played with the idea of changing the uploads to pdf. Unfortunately that will take much of my time. Thanks for your thoughts, Jeanetta Mastron CPhT BS Founder/Owner > > Dear All, > > > > I need to know if you can open up my files. Guest guest
Dear All, I got this in private emails. I hope it may help someone out there that has a Mac computer: " Hi Jeanetta, I have a Mac, using the Safari browser. All files open, but one must have Microsoft Word (or Office) in order to read the ones with the " W " or any ending in .doc. This does not come with the software on a Mac, so it would be a separate purchase. This is probably the biggest reason those two were unable to read your files. The plain text ones are fine, too. Some .doc files ended up in my downloads folder, instead of Microsoft Word opening automatically. (this may be a setting in my browser) But if someone has Word, they should still be able to open it and read it after it's downloaded. I've had a Mac for about 14 years, so I am quite experienced with using it. Let me know if they have any more problems with your files. Member X " ----------- Hi Member X, So are you saying that if one has a PC that he or she should be able to open all docs? Jeanetta ------------------------ Hi Jeanetta, No, but I think many PC users have Microsoft Word (or Office) on their computers already, so they can open docs. Anyone who is a student should have Word, whether they have a Mac or a PC, as that's what most colleges use. Member X ----------------- " Hi Member X, Thanks so much for your input. I will post this, it may help someone out there. Jeanetta " MOST members have had no difficulty opening my files. But I do want to help every one I can. So any ideas are welcome. Thanks so much everyone! Jeanetta Mastron Founder/Owner > > > Dear All, > > > > > > I need to know if you can open up my files.
