Guest guest
You don't Sharyn... some people will never change... Just tell her that is her opinion... not yours... (((and when she gets the vaccine and gets the flu... and you don't, then you can say (nicely) my meds work better than yours... wanna try mine? I did that to one person... They didn't take my herbs but they did clean up their eating habits... so I did succeed in one step for them.. Yes it is frustrating.. but remember you don't have to live their life..nor do you have to listen to them complain....and there are alot more people out there who want help. And don't forget opportunities always avail themselves... You just gotta watch for them. SuziSharyn Cerniglia <sharyn.cerniglia@...> wrote: I'm sorry....I just have to vent. None of our doctors have any vaccine, and I'm not well enough to stand in line at the grocery store for one. ARGH!!!! How do you combat this crap?!?!? She's not well enough to stand in line for one, but she'll inject POISON into her body?!?!? More ARGH!!!! How many people die every second due to just plain ignorance on their part? I guess this is one way we learn to be a little less ignorant and a little more knowledgable. <sigh> -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
Well that is good for you... you don't need to be dragged down.. I have the philosphy of "IF ONLY"... it goes like this... If I would get cancer or something and die and get to the gates of Heaven before God, and he would say to me... "You're not supposed to be here yet.... IF ONLY you had tried this remedy or that remedy... you wouldn't be here now." So I believe that you try everything there is so that "IF ONLY's" don't happen. Now if I tried everything and it was just my time to pass on... then I have the satisfaction of knowing I was supposed to go on to other things that I completed whatever it was I was supposed to do here on earth.... If it's not about her health, it's her husband's (he's had colon cancer for the past four or five years). If not about that, it's about finances. It gets to be very annoying....but at least I'm not repressing my negative emotion about it!<G> Sharyn From: Suzanne [mailto:suziesgoats@...] ..nor do you have to listen to them complain.... Guest guest
doc would give her a flu shot despite the fact that she had a cold. To my amazement, he did....... I have heard doctors say they feel they have a dilemma because people expect them to give them something and get very mad if they don't. He probably gave it to her to placate her, even though he knew it really wasn't going to help. I remember years ago being so sick with "something" that I went to a Dr. which is extremely rare for me. He determined that I had some kind of virus and told me that antibiotics don't kill viruses and that I would just have to rest and let it take it's course. He gave me nothing at all. I'm definitely not a medicine person, but I was still mad because I was so sick and dragged myself there because I wanted him to give me something to make me feel better. In retrospect I respect his honesty and ethics, but at the time I would have even taken a placebo just to make me feel better. So much of it is psychological and I think doctors are up against it all the time. Gloria

Whether the choice is a very right one or a not so right one is purely relative. All choices are right choices there is no such thing as a wrong choice. Any choice made is the choice that needed to be made in order for us to learn from the consequences of said choice. :-) You can't change how another thinks. You will have a better chance pulling the teeth out of a very large, mad and enraged and very hungry crocodile bare handed. :-\ You can, however, influence their decision making by being an example and educating them when they wish to know. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
