, I forget what has been discussed in terms of meds for

the " stomach. " It sure is a major trigger for me. I tried aciphex

(caused vomiting and diarrhea and hence heart stuff), prescription

strength zantac (call ran-something) which became inadequate, and

prevacid. The prevacid helps quite a lot with no apparent side

effects, but does not give enough control, even at a double dose. My

doc says try prilosec next, she has had very good luck with that. A

friend also swears by it. I am much, much better heart-wise with

even the partial control from the prevacid.

I also have to be careful even with meds to eats sparingly, slowly,

not acid stuff, no soda. etc.
