Guest guest
Yes, I have a GB 4000 with an amplifier, but not a MOPA. We've had our machine several years, and last year sent it in to be " updated " . We definitely feel we got our money's worth! The program for " Lyme Hatchlings/eggs " comes with the instruction " these are low frequencies - use square wave only " (I think that may apply only to the GB 4000, since it has a carrier frequency). The frequencies included are 640, 8554, 203, 412, 414, 589, 667, 840, 1000, 1072, 1087, 1105. The GB 4000 runs the first 8 frequencies together as a group for 5 minutes, and then the rest of it as another group for another 5 minutes. I use this program monthly, but not always at the full moon. I sometimes take antibiotics at the full moon, and don't rife when I'm taking them. Guest guest
You're welcome , I was advised to read Rosner's book: LYME DISEASE & RIFE MACHINES. He said the GB 4000 is easy to use and affordable. My doctor had one, and I had several treatments on it before I bought my own. But I bought it without the amplifier, which I felt was appropriate because I'm small. Later I learned that the Doug coil is best for LD, but more expensive, and that the GB 4000 works fairly well for LD, but ONLY WITH THE AMPLIFIER. So we got the amplifier. Once I got used to using the machine, I was rifing every 3 days and barely functional. Over a period of SEVERAL YEARS I have improved greatly, but I still have a long way to go. Understand that I was told I probably had LD for AT LEAST 30 YEARS before I was diagnosed, in 2000. You may not have had it as long. But you may have more co-infections than I do. So there's no way to forecast how long it will take before you feel better and can function. My turning point was after I had my hip replaced--I was so relieved that surgery didn't make it worse (because sometimes it can). It's different for everyone. It's impossible to tell someone what they should do. Does the used GB4000 have an amplifier, and are they both in good working order? How soon can you get a coil and what is the difference in cost? There are so many variables. The GB 4000 comes with an operating manual as well as a frequency llst. If they have been lost, they can be replaced, and I have a phone number. If it needs repair, I think I have a phone number for that too--we were quite satisfied with the service we received when we had our GB 4000 updated.
