Guest guest
I am experiencing very painful lumps with shooting pains in my right armpit and am hoping someone in the group can shed some light on why this is happening. The pain seems to be directly related to my use of bio-identical estrogen as whenever I have stopped dosing, the lumps and pain subside. I have tried both estradot and estrogel, but both have the same side effect - right side only. I am tempted to stop the estrogen again . . . though I hate the resulting hot flashes and menopausal symptoms I experience when not taking estrogen. (I also take prometrium about every three months.) Has anyone else experienced this problem? I am getting quite worried as the pain is getting stronger and more frequent. Could this be a sign of breast cancer? My doctor wants me to get a mammogram . . . I am wondering if I should ask for an ultrasound as well since the basic mammogram doesn't seem to include the underarm area. I would greatly appreciate any thoughts / suggestions you might have. Thank you.
