You can search the archives and see what I’ve been through. I just want to throw out there about the P and protecting the uterus. First, what form of P does Dr. Schwarzbein prescribe for protection of the uterus? My first experience with transdermal P was when I was 38. Not the WP. Long story short, I ended up with endometrial cancer about 9 months later. I had to have a complete hyst at the age of 39. The transdermal P did NOT protect my uterus. The P messed me up in all kinds of ways. So my point is, if you are using Transdermal P, don’t bank on it protecting. I didn’t go on the WP until 5 years later. Liz Laurel, I'm now worrying if it is safe to take any WP Progesterone even while reducing and detoxing. Can you tell me what you are doing now and if you have managed to detox from the progesterone completely? How are you testing for hormone levels? I think Dr. Schwarzbein said I need some P for the uterus lining to slough off. Right now I am most worried that this protocol may have severely affected my teeth and bones. Do you know of anyone who had this problem and it got better as they weaned off the protocol and starting healing? Any encouragement of other's success would be greatly appreciated.
