Guest guest
This may be irrelevant, but in case anyone is using Aspartame (Equal/Nutrasweet), like in diet sodas (or any of many products which contain it), you might want to try cutting it out and see if there is any difference in your symptoms. I was having the lightheaded problem along with aching (or icy feeling) legs, head tension, etc., and it always seemed related to my estrogen dose. Then I found something online which described the same symptoms I was having and said this was a result of an interaction between estrogen and aspartame (This article seems to have disappeared). So I have no medical or scientific evidence of this, I'm only relating my personal experience; but those symptoms went away when I stopped using aspartame. Most of you probably don't use it, but I thought I would mention it just in case. Kae Re: Reducing Estrogen Dose I get that- depending on where I am in my cycle.. I tried to 'balance' with progesterone but I get so depressed...My last estrodial test on day #5 of my cycle showed:120 (18-480) I was using 1 pump of estrogenDay #21 of cycle:106 (11-212)I am wondering how much of this lightheadedness is also due to high liver enzymes?? I know the liver de-neutralizes estrogen and my enzymes are high (they are coming down):AST 47 (10-30)ALT 55 (6-40)This is causing me so much turmoil in my life and I just don't know what else to do... I know I can't quit this cold turkey because it has been the only thing that has helped with the anxiety...> > > > > > > > > > > > > I have been on bio-identical estrogen since July... a week after I started I> > started getting lightheaded... Guest guest
Progesterone made me super dizzy. Did you have high liver enzymes prior to starting the E? Have you checked your blood sugar? And boy did I understand the anxiety, so I can relate. Liz I get that- depending on where I am in my cycle.. I tried to 'balance' with progesterone but I get so depressed...
