Yes, aside from Dr. Formby, she was the only other one that understood what was happening when the progesterone would massively and suddenly upload out of the tissues and dump into the blood stream. THAT is a very scary experience! I wrote about it back in May/June '05 in the archives. If I ran, got massaged, or rubbed the area I had applied the P then it would dislodge some and a massive rush of P would get into my blood stream creating overdose consequences. After talking with dr. Formby I figured out to slam it down with E and it had to be enough to climb over provoking the P receptors. It was a very extreme situation. During this time when I was going thru such scary detox the Wiley folks were hounding my online and slandering/libeling me because I turned Rhythmic Living into a WP recovery support site. A very bad time. I decided not to just disappear because I believe women should not be marginalized and made to feel guilty because we got taken by a shabby and ethically corrupt scam. RL remained online to hold space for women who would eventually arrive in need of support. You can do your part by sending your story and I will put it on the website (with your permission of course). It is said that I simply have a personal vendetta and the women on RL never did the WP. Bullocks. We did it perfectly with trademarked product. Sadly it appears doctors buy this and get involved in the hustle. Report your experience to your WP doctor in writing and report to the health authorities in your state. Please DO YOUR PART. As well, Somers was informed about the women on RL and the sickness we experienced on the WP, but she still put it in her book. The HypeMaster. Tell her too. As Lyn used to say. "Don't let them bury the bodies!" But sick women are perfect victims. They get overdosed, depressed, and just fade away...... Don't be the perfect victim.LaurelNanci,Call Dr. Schwartzbein's office at and tell Bonnie who will probably answer that you were referred by beth Donati from the yahoo group. Let her know you need to talk to about having a phone consult with . YES, she's expensive and after working 'with' her for two months now, I can say she is worth her weight in gold!!! I feel like a team with this Doctor. She is extremely knowledgeable and takes everything seriously...everything I ask or am scared of or anything, she addresses from a concerned doctor, friend, partner, coach point of view. I bless each day that I found this woman. _______________________________________beth Donati

Hi Everyone! I'm the new member. My name is Sheree and I live in Chico, California. When I was trying to join, the space wouldn't allow me to write more than I did. I have been on WP for 20 months and didn't bypass much. I started the program because I thought having a period would be beneficial; I believed that cycling made more sense that static dosing; I was tired of trying to figure out the bio identical thing mostly by myself (which I only started because of vaginal dryness); and I was excited about the anti-aging (hype). After starting I experienced extreme itching, bloating, weight gain, burning under my skin, brain fog, dry eyes, anxiety, night sweats, sore breasts, headaches, cramps, dizziness, unbalanced, stress, craved chocolate, increase in brown spots and darker, nipples dark, facial wrinkles, heart palpitations, lowered libido, hot flashes, constipation, increased body heat, felt pregnant, anxiety (like low

grade speed), lower back pain, some uterus prolapse, gain in hips - very thick looking (I am usually a size2-4), vaginal area very wet, vulva area dry and uncomfortable, feet cramps, extreme hair loss, hot feet, eyes sore, veins showing more and feeling very hot - it felt like my blood had become toxic, sleeping problems, sore throat, and FINALLY, a hot burning vulva area that was unbearable and extreme pain in my right hip and all down my leg. All through this journey the answer from my doctor was more estrogen. He said when my FSH score was finally under 5, then the magic would happen and everything would work out - my brain would be getting enough fuel and my body would suddenly thin down, tone up, and all the symptoms would be gone. My doctor also wanted to add testosterone, armour thyroid replacement, HGH, Deplin, and VSL#3 probiotics. I never started the armour or HGH. I kept a log during the

20 months and had a graph of everything. I felt like this program was aging me, not helping me except for a few exceptional times that I felt great. SO, I started researching and gathering information. When I talked with Dana at the Pharmacy in Santa Barbara, he was distressed that my P levels were too low. He scared me and lowered my estrogen amounts. I felt great for awhile and then everything went south. My doctor had been ill, and when he came back he said that he didn't check P levels because women were getting sick from too much P. He upped my E and lowered my P to 50% over 60 and kept upping the Estrogen, finally to E+7 and then E+6 and P75% over 60. One day his marketing partner called me back for my doctor, (he wanted to up my P to Basic and after my blood tests I didn't feel this was right), and she accused me of doing something wrong because no other women had had my symptoms. I

thought I was getting way too much estrogen and it was having a reverse effect and giving me low estrogen symptoms. I never thought it might be P because all the literature I had ever read or heard about was that P was safe and didn't have any side effects. BIG WAKE UP Call !!! I started researching the protocol and looking for information. My doctor recommended a client who was my age and had been on the program longer than me who was a success case to be a support person. However, she was suddenly having all kinds of things going wrong and she was sure it was the P. When I found Rhythmic Living, I read everything and I was appalled and scared. I called Dr. Bent Formby and he was wonderful to me and has remained a support person in my journey. He wanted me to get off everything right away, but I was afraid if I stopped the estrogen I would lose my hair again and I would not be able to

tolerate an increase in the vulva burning. I talked with my local compounding pharmacists and they recommended going off slowly. My friend completely dropped the program for 2 weeks, then started the estrogen because of how her skin looked, but didn't use any P. That also scared me. So I lowered my estrogen from E+6 with 2 lines on the labia to E+3 with 2 lines on the labia and took about 6 lines of P total divided up between days 14-28. That's when I decided to join the group. While I was reading the posts, Dr. Schwarzbein's name kept coming up. I had been praying for someone who could show me how to detox and coordinate my whole body. When I looked her up on the web and saw that she was in Santa Barbara, I thought - I can do this! So, on Tuesday afternoon, May10, at 4:00 p.m. after reading the groups posts, I called and talked to her husband. She was now taking new patients and had a

cancellation Thursday morning at 10:15, and could I make it. So the next day my son and I drove down. THANK YOU !!! I loved her! She took all my lab work for the last 5-6 years, my graph, my journal and actually studied them. She educated me, asked and answered questions and gave me hope. I felt heard, validated, encouraged, and taken care of. She put me on 7 lines estrogen morning and night and 1/2 line P morning and night days 18 to 28. She removed a huge stress load off of me. My son and I stayed through to Sunday morning and fell in love with Santa Barbara. I read her book , The Program, and started following her eating protocol. I felt better almost immediately. My right leg hurt a lot for a few days and is now better. The vulva burning is better. I am also using Emu oil on the burning area and this helps with the dryness and burning. I am

also using it on my scalp and hair. I have lost 5 lbs, not craving chocolate, and was able to drive the 9 hours home by myself without any problems. It was my son's birthday and he was thrilled. So the reason, it has taken me so long to write is that I have been out of town thanks to your postings. If anyone has any questions I would be glad to answer back. I am so sorry so many women have had to go through so much pain and financial stress in their journey to get the body balanced and healthy.

Laurel, I would like to know how to access the archives. I will be detoxing the P out of my system and I would appreciate the support of others experiences and findings especially yours. I can't thank you enough for starting Rhythmic Living and staying faithful in the face of horrible opposition. You have provided a safe place for women to network who need help and encouragement. I would love to talk with you sometime if you would be open to that. I will be talking to my ex-doctor about all of this when the timing is right. I'm not sure how you go about informing the Wiley people so it will be filed and not just thrown away.

I would also like to talk with beth, especially since you are in Santa Barbara and I will be coming down more often. I looked up your website and was wondering if it would be okay to call you or e-mail you directly at some point. I'm interested both in your WP recovery journey and your business.

Sincerely,

Sheree Michels
