Guest guest
I have twitches in my legs and I get bad feet and leg cramps. None of this was pre WP or benzo withdrawal. What kind of candida diet are you on? Liz Hi to the new user. From what I've learned from Dr. Schwarzbein, my amazing endocronologist, it's important to taper the hormones slowly. I'm doing just that and experiencing all kinds of weird things...don't even really know if they're all hormone related since she also has me on a strict anti-candida diet. I'm having serious leg issues, especially on one side, where I feel like I have a rubber band around them all day and restless leg syndrome type symptoms at night which is making sleeping challenging which makes everything else weird. Now I'm starting to have pain in my groin so I think I'm experiencing other things as well...and I'm scared. But back to the hormones, YES, Progesterone blocks Estrogen uptake. That's why when my periods where too close together (21 days instead of 28) the doctors who didn't understand, kept upping my E when they should have been lowering my P. Anyway, take a couple of months to lower each one. I was on E+4, now, 3 months later I'm E+2 and she has me doing this one more month. Doctor has also lowered my P and now I'm on a shorter cycle of it from day 18 to 28 instead of day 14 or 15. That's all I know for now. But if anyone else is suffering from leg twitches, let me know please! beth > > Hi Everyone, > > Our newest member has arrived. She is suffering on the WP. Sounds like the P is blocking the E. )-: I haven't heard of that one before. It takes a while for some women to build up the P, but it's amazing to me when someone can bypass immune suppression, high blood sugar, hair loss, weight gain, and have this be the first sign. > > Welcome new member. Guest guest
If a woman can taper that is pretty nice, but it was impossible for me to taper as the P was just too high in my body. I couldn't tolerate it at all. Being on it got scary and getting off it was scary. I'm glad you are working with . She has gotten so much awful smearing from the WP group and my experience with her was that she is great to talk to and her mind is fast. It's important to work with someone who has a clue and a serious understanding about what a nuclear blast that protocol is to the endocrine system. Please - everyone who has turned away from the WP - please tell the doc that Rx'd it for you that things went south. Put it in writing if necessary. It's rotten if you don't tell the doc and the WP folks. Sure they might say you never really did the protocol, but still register your experience. If you don't register your experience you support their confirmation bias.
