Guest guest
You can mess up the system by doing heavy does of anything. It might do you well to ask your doc to get you on a patch. Going up and up on your E is not so good. I wish I could use a patch, but they fall off my skin. I use 1.75mg of gel a day, sometimes 2mg total and break it up to AM and PM. On compounded cream I could never get is so low. I don't touch transdermal P. I use Prometrium every few months. I have a very low tolerance to P. Compounded cream is now my least favorite option - there is not grand consistency across the board across the pharmacies. Sure some are good, but there is a lot of racket going on too. I'd much rather use a patch, as I also think Im getting a peak and a crash of estrogen through the day. > > Far out! This is all so complicated! Ive dealt with so much the past three years with my thyroid/ adrenals and this low estrogen thing is being such a pain! > > I dont think my progesterone is very high, as tests showed it was very low, even though I did the WP (sort of) for a few months, I never took the high doses of P Wiley reccomends because I couldnt tolerate them at all. > > Sooo, that's my question. COuld I be developing a tolerance to the dose? Are my receptors getting overloaded? Is there a way of making more receptors, or making them more responsive to the estrogen? > > Thank you! > > Jo > > > > ------------------------------------ > > click here for our webpage http://rhythmicliving.com/ > > **The group conversation is informational in nature and is not intended as medical advice.**
