Guest guest
Jo, When I used the Climara, .1mg, I got horrible headaches and breast tenderness. It was not from to much E but not enough. My blood level was 34 on one test. I never got used to them. The bad headaches and breast tenderness went away. I’ve never had breast tenderness since (that was about 7 years ago) and I’ve used all kinds of Estradiol in many forms. Liz Hi Team Rhythmicliving Ive just tried a climera patch for some estrogen replacement and had wicked headache/ migraines. My back story is that my wellmeaning doctor put me on wp because I had shockingly low estrogen with a raft of symptoms. Ofcourse wp didnt work and I ended up havign migraines everyday, which stopped once I stopped wp. I definately need some estrogen. Ive just had one 35 day cycle where there were definately low estrogen symptoms involved. I tried the Climera 25 patch for 6 days and had wicked headaches the whole time. Im going to phone my doctor tonight and let her know, but I was wondering if anyone else has any suggestions of other forms of low dose estrogen replacement so I can be armed with ideas/ Thank you! Guest guest
My doc has me on vivelle dots at the .1 level, but you can do .05 and .25. I really like the ease of use and I haven't had any side effects from them. Thanks to this group, I decided to hold off on the WP, so I do not have to deal with that. Guest guest
Liz... Hope u r feeling better. If not, just consider that .1mg is the lowest dose Divigel comes in. There is also .5 and 1mg. I am still feeling well on 1 mg once a day. I added Prometrium on day 14 and am only two days into that now. If all goes well I will do this through the summer and see the endocrinologist in the fall to discuss what's next. ChrisSent from my iPhone I also just started Divigel. .1mg BID.
