Guest guest
Hi I am actually taking LDN. I have taken it for over three years now. It does help somewhat, but not as much as the estrogen. I am on just about every thyroid group list there is! I have tried everything. Every diet, every supplement, every everything. Seriously. The estrogen is one of the things that really helps my symptoms. I am not sure why. That is the reason I am taking it. The other reason is that I have to take high doses of cytomel and I take 27 mg of hydrocortisone oer day, the combination of which have lowered my sex hormone levels significantly. Before I started both of those protocols my testosterone levels were in normal ranges and estrogn levels were mid range. Now estro is low normal and testo is low (prog is normal), so I supplement both. But yes, it is not common protocol to take estrogen when one is premeno, which is why doctors have treated me like I was strange for doing it in the past.
