Guest guest
Hi Liz, My first suggestion is to document your entire health history. I started doing this years ago and it's so helpful when I go to someone new.The second is to understand that your gyn probably has no idea how to treat hormone issues. They aren't trained believe it or not. You need to seek the help of a bright endocrinologist. Also, please search the yahoo groups for the thyroid group and do a search online for LDN. Pretty amazing information. My endo, Dr. Scwarzbein, believes that you shouldn't take hormones your body is still taking so I question why at 40 you're taking estrogen yet. But I'm just learning about all of this. beth
