Guest guest
Hello Group, My name is I am new here and looking for some direction. My most recent sex hormone labs showed that I am low and T and E. I will be able to access compounded E, P (if/when needed)and T. Brief medical history. Started to get sick around the age of 24, four years later it was diagnosed as Hashimoto's, 6 months after the birth of my second son, that would have been in Feb 2001. By spring of 2002 I was hospitalized and diagnosed with 2 more autoimmune diseases. Many very sick years later, about 2009 I got the root of the problem, extremely low iron, synthetic T4 thyroid meds, and bad adrenals. It's taken a few years (why does it take so long, we need more cooperative doctors!) my low iron was fixed with IV iron, started on hydrocortisone 19 weeks ago and have been on T3 for 1 year now to get rid of reverse T3 and looking forward to switching back to desiccated thyroid soon. So a couple of questions. How long does it take for T to start working? I just started applying it to the back of my knees. I can't be entirely sure but I think I started sleeping better since starting. I am interested in rhythmic dosing and until I get compounded E I have EstroGel 0.06% - usual recommended dose is 2.5g daily. Each metered actuation delivers 1.25 g of gel. This is day 29 of my cycle and wanted to wait to start E on day 1 keeping to my natural cycle. Based on my results I am pretty sure I don't need P at all (for now at least). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
