Guest guest
If you know you're OD'd on P I would wait it out for a few months at least...skip the P - you have enough in you already! E is the hormone most likely to raise your blood sugar...but P can make you insulin resistant. so you need to figure out which one is happening to you. The hemoglobin A1c test lets you know if you're prediabetic or how your blood sugar has been running for the last couple of months. Stopping the hormones which are excessive should be the remedy...keeping on with them (or with the P) as you have been makes the problem worse. It sounds pretty early in the game for you, so stopping P would probably be your first step. I took the compounded P vaginally and really threw myself for a loop...I began hemmhoraging for 10 days after it, which was probably a good shedding of my lining, but was so sedated during the use of the vaginal P that I could not lift my head off the pillow. After that bleed, I really felt it was not as risky to stop P..I was clearly overdosed and had shed the lining thoroughly. > > I ended up being overdosed on P in trying to get the > rhythmic dosing going (NOT Wiley) since I had had 2 cycles the > 2 mos. previously with no bleed. Guest guest
Have you had your blood levels checked for both E and P? I took a LONG time to start bleeding regularly(like OVER a YEAR!). "I" needed more E, once my levels were high enough(needed receptors to wake up)..and I used oral Prometrium, then I would bleed normally. I personally feel that it is important to shed the lining that builds up. It's all about balance..not too much of one or the other, and to know that you must check your levels, as one can THINK that it's P, but it "might" mean that you need more or less of E, OR P. That has been MY experience, and as we all KNOW, we're ALL different!Good Luck on your Hormone Journey,Terri To: rhythmicliving Sent: Tuesday, March 20, 2012 7:51 AM Subject: Too much P I ended up being overdosed on P in trying to get the rhythmic dosing going (NOT Wiley) since I had had 2 cycles the 2 mos. previously with no bleed. I have ended up with many of the high P symptoms posted about. It was taken vaginally and really only for 10 days of 1 cycle It has raised my blood sugar a good bit, which is how I figured out it was too much (100 mg daily). Anyway, do I just wait it out? Do I skip the P part of the cycle next time? Does the E I am taking just gradually bring it down? Anyway, just looking for some help from those who have been there, done that. Thanks for any help, Deb in MI
