Guest guest
Hi, Exactly, that’s why when I had all those PMS symptoms Dr. Reiss had (and has) me use Estrogen only. And that really helped! Last year I added 5 days of P, small dose, right before my period to settle the timing. Why is it that when I give progesterone they get estrogen side effects? They get breast swelling, they get water retention, they get headaches, their feet swell, that's estrogen. " Progesterone side effects are breast swelling, water retention, headaches, etc. That's what PMS is all about, and that's when progesterone is the highest. Lee's theories have never been able to be duplicated in double-blind clinical trials. I wonder how many cases of uterine cancer he can claim? I am a member of several boards. I noticed this title under a " progesterone " topic just recently. These women stating that .. now that they think about their situation (after introducing progesterone) things definitely improved. This surpr ised me! Progesterone, for me, is the very evil hormone. I am one that was " treated " with 200mgs P cream (only) for over four years. I was in peri .. and when I look back at blood tests, my estrogen level kept going down, down, down. I was tested at least twice a year, sometimes more. Looking back, I know that the amount of progesterone I was on was way too much for me. Absolutely no estrogen was ever advocated being introduced into my protocol. My brain fog was such that I was not able to figure out what the problem was. I am currently on estrogen and testosterone pellets and cycle in progesterone 12 days a month to bring on a bleed. While I think I am still working on getting back to my optimal health, I am currently so much better than I have been in a very long time. ) Just wondering what others here think about the subject line statement and the link I included below? I don't (necessarily) believe that this is true ..? http://www.yourlifesource.com/estrogen-receptors.htm <http://www.yourlifesource.com/estrogen-receptors.htm> Best, Glo
